CES Information
Title I, Part A - Provides paraprofessionals, resource teachers, supplemental technology and computer labs, professional development, supplies, parent involvement activities, after school programs and supplemental educational services (SES). Title I, Part B - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) - Provides professional development, reading coaches and supplemental supplies. Title I, Part C - Provides after school programs, advocates home liaisons, supplies and support Title I services for migrant children. Title II, Part A - Provides secondary reading and math coaches, professional development, teacher and administrator incentives for becoming reading endorsed, and support to help teachers become highly qualified. Title III - Provides district ELL resource teachers to assist with testing, placement and academic programs for ELL students. Title VI - Provides progress monitoring materials and supplies, professional development, after school tutorials, and consultants to provide parental information for supplementary educational services. School Improvement Initiative (1003a) - Provides eligible schools with supplemental technology and release time for teachers to conduct data services and chats.
ETHICS IN EDUCATION ACT
All employees and agents of school district have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student. This misconduct includes, but is not limited to, obscene language, drug or alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating, testing violations, physical aggression and accepting or offering favors. Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment and revocation of an educator's certificate.
